Pinocchio

In the past, there was a puppeteer named Geppetto. He wanted to have a son who was very many but his wife died a few years ago. One day, he had an idea to make a doll so he wouldn’t be lonely anymore. He makes dolls all day long. Finally, in the morning he had finished his work and he named the doll Pinocchio. Soon he felt lonely again because Pinocchio could not walk or talk by himself. One night, Geppetto prayed to God to be a real child. He always thought about it in his mind in his dreams.

The next morning, he was surprised that Pinocchio was still alive. He taught Pinocchio how to walk, how to read, how to talk and do other things as a human. He then studied in an elementary school. One day, Pinocchio was bored and it made him go home late. When Pinocchio finally returned home, Geppetto asked for it.

He said that he was in school but he was not. Instantly, Pinocchio’s nose grows longer and is longer and means Pinocchio has lied.

The next morning, Pinocchio was kidnapped by the owner of the circus. Pinocchio soon became a slave to the circus. She is so famous because she is a puppet that can talk. Geppetto was worried about him because Pinocchio would not go home for almost two days. He tried to find Pinocchio everywhere but he found nothing. When he searched for him in the sea, a big wave destroyed him. He was then in the belly of a whale when he awoke. He could not find a way to go out. On the other hand, Pinocchio was finally able to escape out of the circus. He went home but nobody was there.

Finally, he looks for Geppetto at sea. He got the same accident as Geppetto and he met Geppetto in the belly of a whale. Both of them came out of their stomach by making fire. At the end of the story, they go home together and live happily ever after.

The moral of this story is the Pinocchio we are taught not to lie in order to become a better person and obedient to parents.
